Katmai National Park Brochure


For this project, I had to design and create a logo, and brochure, for a national park. The national park that I choose we Katmai National Park, which is in King Salmon, AK. After researching the park, I found out that this park was known for all the wild bears that lived and roamed in the park, so I decided to base my logo around them. I created different mockups with different fonts, and illustration, to determine which logo I would use. Once the black and white logos where created, I added color to make to logo standout.

Client: CMAT 211 – Intro to Graphic Design

Objective: For these assignments, I had to design and create a logo and brochure for a national park. The national park I choose is Katmai National Park, which is in King Salmon, AK.

Solution:To create this work, I had to utilize the skills I learned in Adobe Illustrator to create the brochure. I made an eye-catching logo, showing the different logos from black and white, inverse, and color. I then had to create the brochure layout by adding all the elements.
